FAQ
Answers for teams adopting AI-agent-native PM.
How Peacae PM, Desktop, and Cloud fit together — and what agents should (and should not) do.
Getting startedWhat is Peacae PM?
Peacae PM is AI-agent-native project management. Coding agents update the board as they plan and ship; Peacae Desktop shows that work locally; Peacae Cloud optionally mirrors it for the team.
Getting startedWhat do I need to start?
An agent-ready project setup, a coding agent that follows Peacae’s agent instructions, and Peacae Desktop to watch the board. Cloud is optional until you need shared team visibility.
Getting startedWhat is the working process?
Each session: launch Peacae Desktop first so it is watching the board, then open your IDE in that same repo so the agent can work, then connect with Cloud for sync if the team should see it. Desktop is the watcher and sync client. Cloud is optional — skip it for solo or offline work. If you open the IDE first, the agent can still write; you just will not see a live Peacae board until Desktop is running.
Agents & DesktopDo agents call Peacae Cloud APIs?
No. Agents never call Peacae APIs or Cloud databases. They update the project board in the work they are doing. Desktop syncs to Cloud when you are signed in and linked.
Agents & DesktopWhich coding agents work with Peacae?
Any agent that can follow Peacae’s agent instructions and update the board — including Cursor, Claude, and similar IDE agents. Status rules and timestamps are part of that contract.
Agents & DesktopDoes Peacae replace my IDE or ticketing tool?
No. Peacae is the board for agent-written delivery signals — not a replacement for your IDE, git host, or every company-wide tracker. Use it where agent progress needs durable project management.
Cloud & syncIs Cloud required?
No. Local Desktop plus agent-ready setup is enough for solo or offline work. Cloud adds accounts, invites, mirrored project data, workspace teams, and org Orchestrator activity across linked projects.
Cloud & syncHow does sync work?
When you are signed in and a watched project is linked to Cloud, Desktop pushes board changes. Pending sync is Desktop-local; offline agent updates catch up when you reconnect.
Cloud & syncCan I watch multiple repositories?
Yes. Desktop supports many watched paths; each links to one Cloud project. Org Orchestrator shows chronological activity across those projects.

Account & supportWhat data does Cloud store?
Cloud stores account details and mirrored project data such as project names, feature and task titles, statuses, timestamps, and notes needed for team dashboards. See the Privacy Policy for details.
